HOMO FABER 2024

AKKA Project is truly delighted to announce that some artists from our roster have been selected to participate in the prestigious event Homo Faber 2024: The Journey of Life.

This celebration of contemporary craftsmanship will take place from 1 to 30 September 2024 at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on San Giorgio Maggiore Island in Venice. Our selected artists Cyrus Kabiru (Kenya), and Ghizlane Sahli (Morocco), will be among the talented artisans showcased in this global experience.

Homo Faber 2024 invites you to embark on a journey through human life, viewed through the lens of craftsmanship. The event will feature immersive exhibitions across the magnificent spaces of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, showcasing hundreds of handcrafted objects created by skilled artisans from around the world. Visitors will be treated to exceptional scenography, live artisan demonstrations, and unique experiences ranging from culinary delights to special tours.

We are incredibly proud of our artists Cyrus Kabiru, and Ghizlane Sahli for being selected for such an esteemed event and look forward to their contributions to this edition.
