Join us for "Meet the Artist" with our artist-in-residence, Leila Rose Fanner, during ArtNight 2024.
During the event, Leila will share her artistic journey and creative process, characterized by a deep connection with emotions and inner thoughts.
Her works, ranging from figurative to abstract representations of the dream world and the invisible, are infused with depictions of South African flora and fauna, from which the artist hails. As she herself states: "The process of artistic creation can be a profoundly cathartic experience, and painful thoughts are often evoked. Therefore, maintaining a clear, honest, and joyful focus is a discipline similar to meditation."
