Venice Art Week 2022: AKKA Project and LoVe!

AKKA Project is excited to share its participation in Venice Art Week 2022, an initiative promoted by LoVe! Land of Venice and by Cescot Veneto as a network built to support cultural and poetic side of the land of Venice.

Taking place during the last weekend of La Biennale di Venezia, from November 23rd to 26th, Venice will be the scene of a rich program of events, talks, meetings focused on the contemporary art scene of the city, generating unexpected synergies between different realities and institutions. 

AKKA Project Venice hosts a guided tour of the group show African Identities, Chapter V on November 24th at 5 pm. The show features works by Gonçalo Mabunda, Reinata Sadimba, Filipe Branquinho, Margaret Ngigi, and Peter Mukhaye. All the artists interact with tradition and, at the same time, explore social themes and narratives of contemporary Africa.
