"Illusion of perfection - we belong together.(diptych) is a form of a love story where there is a sense of belonging together by virtue of the design. They are meant for each other in every way possible but as result of forces unforeseen, their destiny shall never materialise. A love so strong and obvious to the eye and yet so complex to piece together. The piece speaks towards a yearning or desire to feel and experience of absolute completeness. A state of mind or existence where one can feel whole and know their purpose. Meant to be, but never designed to be. ‘What glitters is not always gold’. That which appears to be perfect is usually not what it seems and therefore the love story of two who are destined ‘to be or not be’."
