As I'm transitioning into womanhood, there are a lot of things I'm learning and unlearning. The topic of marriage, became a point of interest as it seems like one of the end goals for a lot of women in my society and then it changes how people behave and live. In the different stages of the marriage journey, I pose my models as who I envision as a wife at the wedding alter.

Looking at women around me who are part of this institution, taking an example of my mother, I admire their strength, resilience and perseverance with the tribulations that marriage comes with.”
